My journey with IDFC FIRST Bank began in 2021 when I joined as a Management Trainee. Right from the start, I sensed that this was a place where I could truly belong. Nearly five years later, that feeling has only grown stronger. Every step of the way has been filled with learning, growth, and meaningful connections.
From an early age, I was drawn to the banking industry, but I knew I didn’t want to build a career just anywhere. I was looking for an environment that valued curiosity, encouraged growth, and offered the opportunity to make a real impact. That’s exactly what I found in IDFC FIRST Bank. As a young and dynamic institution with a clear focus on innovation, it felt like the ideal place to begin my journey and contribute to something meaningful from the start.
I started in the Payments & Fintech partnerships team and later moved into UPI Payments space, which had always fascinated me for its fast-paced and constantly evolving nature. The payments industry is dynamic, and at IDFC FIRST Bank, I have had the opportunity to be part of cutting-edge work that is shaping the future of banking in India.
What I appreciate most about working here is how the Bank has embraced technology to transform customer experience. We are not held back by outdated systems. Our mobile banking platforms and digital interfaces are intuitive and user-friendly, and there is always a clear focus on solving real customer needs. Today, we are even able to enable payments in offline environments, which shows how far innovation has taken us.

As a Product Manager, I work at the intersection of multiple functions including technology, business, sales, and customer service. My role involves understanding the problems or use cases raised by clients and the business team, and then working with our technology teams to design UPI solutions that are effective, scalable, and timely. It’s a role that requires strong collaboration, and I enjoy the challenge of translating complex needs into simple, usable products.
