My journey with IDFC FIRST Bank started over 12 years ago when I was recruited  directly by our CHRO, Adrian Andrade into the erstwhile Capital First while pursuing  my  MBA from Dayalbagh  Educational Institute.

When I joined IDFC FIRST Bank as an intern in 2021, I didn’t know I was stepping into a space that would shape me in ways I hadn’t imagined. From day one, I felt seen, heard, and trusted. That early sense of belonging gave me the confidence to explore and contribute meaningfully.

Working with the Hyper Personalization Engine team has opened my eyes to how technology can truly transform customer experiences. I am fascinated by how something as simple as a recommendation feature could be backed by such complex innovation. It is truly exciting to be part of a team that is building something so impactful in the banking space.

As I transitioned into a full-time role, our team went through changes that tested our resilience. With the support of my manager and peers, I found strength in moments of uncertainty and grew into new responsibilities. Every challenge became a stepping stone that brought greater clarity and confidence.

Outside of work, the hobby clubs have helped me form connections that go far beyond job roles. Whether it is playing a sport or sharing music, these moments make the workplace feel more human and more joyful. They remind me that meaningful collaboration begins when people connect as individuals, not just colleagues.

I started out quiet, unsure of where I belonged or how I would fit in. Over time, I discovered a side of myself I had never fully acknowledged. I realised I am an ambivert who enjoys collaborating with others while also finding clarity in reflection. Learning this about myself has shown me that real growth often begins in moments coloured by uncertainty and self-doubt.
