My journey with IDFC FIRST Bank began in December 2019. I joined with the mandate to manage insurance operations, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and contributing to the remarkable growth in the Bank’s total premium collections. This growth has gone hand-in-hand with the Bank’s own evolution, and I’m proud to have played a part in this exciting chapter.

As I’ve grown in my role, the Bank and my team have been instrumental in shaping my journey into that of a subject-matter expert in insurance. Together, we’ve pioneered innovative solutions that empower our business teams and create meaningful impact.

Over the past three years, I’ve had the opportunity to take on expanded responsibilities within the operations under Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) team. Today, I manage not just operations, but also compliance, audit, and operational risk. I particularly enjoy working with data — coordinating, verifying, and ensuring that the information we rely on is both accurate and trustworthy. I’m also proud to be part of several environmental initiatives, including securing green and ISO certifications for our large offices. It’s fulfilling to contribute to building a more sustainable future through the work we do.
 
Another meaningful part of my journey has been in the Learning & Development (L&D) space. At IDFC FIRST Bank, we strongly champion continuous learning. As a team, we clocked over 4,000 hours of training — and personally, I completed more than 75 hours and earned over 100 badges last year. For me, it’s never just about the numbers; it’s about the growth, the learning, and gaining a deeper understanding of our Bank and its many dimensions.

I remember one instance where we helped a client from North-East India during a time of unrest. Despite the challenges, we were able to expedite her insurance claim. The story gained traction on social media and was even recognized at the Bank level. That's the kind of impact we strive for every day for our customers.
